20 Jan Supplemental Single-Level Cars Accommodate future growth of Midwest-owned fleet
Preliminary cost for up to 41 additional cars (new total of 120 cars). Supplemental cars would be divided among participating Midwest Fleet Ownership consortium (currently IL, MI, MO & WI), as needed. Equipment that serves multiple states and jointly owned by multiple parties would be best for 100% federal funds. The additional cars are needed to meet forecasted demand over the next 10 years.
